14 YEAR OLD SINGER WINS THE GOLDEN BUZZER ON CANADA’S GOT

During Tuesday night’s new episode of Canada’s Got Talent Season 2, a young singer named Maya Gamzu impressed judge Kardinal Offishall so much that he hit the Golden Buzzer for her. Maya will go straight to the Semifinals.

Maya introduced herself as a 14-year-old singer living in Toronto but originally from Israel. She shared that her parents wanted a “bigger future” for her and her brother, explaining that she had to hide from bombs in her home country.

For her audition, Maya performed “Something’s Got a Hold on Me,” showing off a powerhouse voice that had the audience on their feet. Judge Lilly Singh told
